The work Ink Plum Blossoms by Zhang Boju was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2021. It achieved a price of HKD 150,000.00 (€ 15,856.16), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Boju achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Orchid in October 2018 with an auction result of HKD 1,888,000.00 (€ 212,591.60).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Ink Plum Blossoms von Zhang Boju kam im Mai 2021 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 150.000,00 (€ 15.856,16) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Boju erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Orchid im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.888.000,00 (€ 212.591,60).
