Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Artificial Rock by Zhan Wang was auctioned at Christies in Shanghai in September 2019. The price achieved of CNY 384,000.00 (€ 49,263.27) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CNY 300,000.00 – 600,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhan Wang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Artificial Rock No. 131 in November 2010 with an auction result of HKD 6,380,000.00 (€ 630,365.14).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Artificial Rock von Zhan Wang kam im September 2019 bei Christies in Shanghai zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von CNY 384.000,00 (€ 49.263,27) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit CNY 300.000,00 – 600.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhan Wang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Artificial Rock No. 131 im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 6.380.000,00 (€ 630.365,14).
