Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2005 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction FINE CLASSICAL CHINESE PAINTINGS AND CALLIGRAPHY, which included the work Poem In Running Script Calligraphy by Zha Sheng. The price achieved of HKD 26,400.00 (€ 2,749.24) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zha Sheng achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Poems In Running Script in March 2014 with an auction result of USD 125,000.00 (€ 90,730.93).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2005 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion FINE CLASSICAL CHINESE PAINTINGS AND CALLIGRAPHY durch, in der auch die Arbeit Poem In Running Script Calligraphy von Zha Sheng zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 26.400,00 (€ 2.749,24) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zha Sheng erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Poems In Running Script im März 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 125.000,00 (€ 90.730,93).
