Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Poem in Running Cursive Script Calligraphy by Zha Sheng was sold in the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings & Calligraphy auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2007. The price achieved of HKD 37,500.00 (€ 3,278.19) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zha Sheng achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Poems In Running Script in March 2014 with an auction result of USD 125,000.00 (€ 90,730.93).

Die Arbeit Poem in Running Cursive Script Calligraphy von Zha Sheng wurde im November 2007 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings & Calligraphy bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 37.500,00 (€ 3.278,19) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zha Sheng erzielen.
