Auction result well in line with expectations
In April last year Christies in Hong Kong held the auction No Regrets: 20/21 Art Online: All Originals, which included the work Liquidated Louis Vuitton, Murakami Multico – Black by Zevs. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 107,100.00 (€ 12,949.17) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Zevs have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Illuminated Jean Auguste Dominique Ingres, Grand Odalisque - 2012 in October 2018 with an auction result of EUR 65,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April letzten Jahres führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion No Regrets: 20/21 Art Online: All Originals durch, in der auch die Arbeit Liquidated Louis Vuitton, Murakami Multico – Black von Zevs zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 107.100,00 (€ 12.949,17) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zevs auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Illuminated Jean Auguste Dominique Ingres, Grand Odalisque - 2012 im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 65.000,00.
