Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2021 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Showcase: Otaku Redux, which included the work Impacted Chanel by Zevs. The price achieved of HKD 3,780.00 (€ 419.24) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zevs achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Illuminated Jean Auguste Dominique Ingres, Grand Odalisque - 2012 in October 2018 with an auction result of EUR 65,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2021 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Showcase: Otaku Redux durch, in der auch die Arbeit Impacted Chanel von Zevs zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 3.780,00 (€ 419,24) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zevs erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Illuminated Jean Auguste Dominique Ingres, Grand Odalisque - 2012 im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 65.000,00.
