Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2016 a collector was able to acquire the work Connected Trees From The Forbidden City No. 1 by Zeng Xiaojun for HKD 625,000.00 (€ 73,549.53). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Ink Art : Journey at Sothebys in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 650,000.00 – 850,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Zeng Xiaojun have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in October 2015 by the work Ten Thousand Brushstrokes at HKD 1,250,000.00 (€ 146,033.33).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2016 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Connected Trees From The Forbidden City No. 1 von Zeng Xiaojun für HKD 625.000,00 (€ 73.549,53) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Ink Art : Journey bei Sothebys in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 650.000,00 – 850.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Zeng Xiaojun wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Oktober 2015 die Arbeit Ten Thousand Brushstrokes mit HKD 1.250.000,00 (€ 146.033,33).
