Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Pine Trees by Zeng Xi was auctioned at China Guardian in Hong Kong in April 2021. It changed hands for a price of HKD 53,100.00 (€ 5,685.19) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 25,000.00 – 55,000.00. Admittedly, works by Zeng Xi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Calligraphy in October 2019 with an auction result of HKD 375,000.00 (€ 42,861.95).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Pine Trees von Zeng Xi kam im April 2021 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 53.100,00 (€ 5.685,19) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 25.000,00 – 55.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zeng Xi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Calligraphy im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 375.000,00 (€ 42.861,95).
