Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2021 China Guardian held the auction Takahashi Kouhou Collection, which included the work Calligraphy by Zeng Xi. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 62,400.00 (€ 6,941.14), 25% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Zeng Xi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Calligraphy in October 2019 with an auction result of HKD 375,000.00 (€ 42,861.95).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2021 führte China Guardian die Auktion Takahashi Kouhou Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit Calligraphy von Zeng Xi zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 62.400,00 (€ 6.941,14) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zeng Xi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Calligraphy im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 375.000,00 (€ 42.861,95).
