Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Calligraphy in Shiguwen by Zeng Xi was sold in the Inkspiration: Chinese Paintings Online auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in August 2021. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 40,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 40,320.00 (€ 4,390.78). Admittedly, works by Zeng Xi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Calligraphy in October 2019 with an auction result of HKD 375,000.00 (€ 42,861.95).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy in Shiguwen von Zeng Xi wurde im August 2021 in der Auktion Inkspiration: Chinese Paintings Online bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 40.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 40.320,00 (€ 4.390,78) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zeng Xi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Calligraphy im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 375.000,00 (€ 42.861,95).
