Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2021 Bonhams in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings, which included the work Autumn Landscape by Zeng Mi. The price achieved of HKD 9,562.50 (€ 1,083.15) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zeng Mi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape in September 2014 with an auction result of USD 60,000.00 (€ 47,513.46).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2021 führte Bonhams in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Autumn Landscape von Zeng Mi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 9.562,50 (€ 1.083,15) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zeng Mi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape im September 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 60.000,00 (€ 47.513,46).
