The work In Which Direction Does the River Run by Zeng Jianyong was sold in the The Enchantment of Neoteric Chinese Ink auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in October 2014. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 280,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 287,500.00 (€ 29,598.96). Admittedly, works by Zeng Jianyong have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work After Typhoon (Triptych) in April 2014 with an auction result of HKD 1,360,000.00 (€ 126,488.82).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit In Which Direction Does the River Run von Zeng Jianyong wurde im Oktober 2014 in der Auktion The Enchantment of Neoteric Chinese Ink bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 280.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 287.500,00 (€ 29.598,96) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zeng Jianyong auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit After Typhoon (Triptych) im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.360.000,00 (€ 126.488,82).
