Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Cosplay-Follower by Zeng Jianyong was sold in the Chinese Contemporary Ink Paintings (II) auction at POLY in Hong Kong in October 2013. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 350,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 368,000.00 (€ 34,921.29). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zeng Jianyong - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work After Typhoon (Triptych), which sold at auction in April 2014 for HKD 1,360,000.00 (€ 126,488.82).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Cosplay-Follower von Zeng Jianyong wurde im Oktober 2013 in der Auktion Chinese Contemporary Ink Paintings (II) bei POLY in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 350.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 368.000,00 (€ 34.921,29) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Zeng Jianyong mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit After Typhoon (Triptych) beobachtet, die im April 2014 für HKD 1.360.000,00 (€ 126.488,82) versteigert wurde.
