The work Confession by Zeng Jianyong was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2014. The auction ended at the price of HKD 350,000.00 (€ 36,033.52), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 250,000.00 – 350,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zeng Jianyong - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work After Typhoon (Triptych), which sold at auction in April 2014 for HKD 1,360,000.00 (€ 126,488.82).

Die Arbeit Confession von Zeng Jianyong kam im Oktober 2014 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 350.000,00 (€ 36.033,52) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 250.000,00 – 350.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Zeng Jianyong mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit After Typhoon (Triptych) beobachtet, die im April 2014 für HKD 1.360.000,00 (€ 126.488,82) versteigert wurde.
