Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Broken Expectation (From The Series 'Innerscape') by Zadok Ben-David was sold in the The Piet and Ida Sanders Collection auction at Christies in Amsterdam in April 2013. The price achieved of EUR 1,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zadok Ben-David achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Zig Zag Man in May 2013 with an auction result of USD 87,500.00 (€ 67,369.88).

Die Arbeit Broken Expectation (From The Series 'Innerscape') von Zadok Ben-David wurde im April 2013 in der Auktion The Piet and Ida Sanders Collection bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zadok Ben-David erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Zig Zag Man im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 87.500,00 (€ 67.369,88).
