Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Monochrome und Feuer (Monochrome and Fire) (Krefeld Triptych) by Yves Klein was auctioned at Phillips in London in January 2024. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 8,255.00 (€ 13,816.05). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yves Klein achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Anthropométrie de l’époque bleue, (ANT 124) (Anthropometry of the Blue Period), (ANT 124)) in June last year with an auction result of GBP 27,197,000.00 (€ 31,595,177.57).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Monochrome und Feuer (Monochrome and Fire) (Krefeld Triptych) von Yves Klein kam im Januar 2024 bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 8.255,00 (€ 13.816,05) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yves Klein erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Anthropométrie de l’époque bleue, (ANT 124) (Anthropometry of the Blue Period), (ANT 124)) im Juni letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 27.197.000,00 (€ 31.595.177,57).
