It achieved a price of GBP 11,250.00 (€ 12,646.67), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 61%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yuri Annenkov achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait of Aleksandr Nikolaevich Tikhonov in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 2,260,500.00 (€ 3,165,284.82).

Die Arbeit The Alexander Column, Palace Square, St Petersburg von Yuri Annenkov wurde im Juni 2019 in der Auktion Russian Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 11.250,00 (€ 12.646,67) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 61%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yuri Annenkov erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait of Aleksandr Nikolaevich Tikhonov im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.260.500,00 (€ 3.165.284,82).
