Auction result well in line with expectations
The work River Landscape by Yuri Annenkov was sold in the Russian Pictures auction at Sothebys in London in December 2020. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 80,000.00 – 120,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 81,900.00 (€ 91,489.60) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yuri Annenkov achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait of Aleksandr Nikolaevich Tikhonov in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 2,260,500.00 (€ 3,165,284.82).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit River Landscape von Yuri Annenkov wurde im Dezember 2020 in der Auktion Russian Pictures bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 81.900,00 (€ 91.489,60) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yuri Annenkov erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait of Aleksandr Nikolaevich Tikhonov im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.260.500,00 (€ 3.165.284,82).
