Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Peony by Yun Shouping was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April last year. The price achieved of HKD 50,400.00 (€ 6,093.73) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yun Shouping achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Fragrance of a Nation in Clearing Spring in November 2021 with an auction result of HKD 59,650,000.00 (€ 6,632,475.41).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Peony von Yun Shouping kam im April letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 50.400,00 (€ 6.093,73) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yun Shouping erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Fragrance of a Nation in Clearing Spring im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 59.650.000,00 (€ 6.632.475,41).
