This artwork by Yun Shouping achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in July 2020. In the Fine Chinese Paintings auction, the work Fruits and Vegetables sold for USD 8,125.00 (€ 6,900.80) - well above the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yun Shouping achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Fragrance of a Nation in Clearing Spring in November 2021 with an auction result of HKD 59,650,000.00 (€ 6,632,475.41).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Yun Shouping erzielte im Juli 2020 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings wurde die Arbeit Fruits and Vegetables für USD 8.125,00 (€ 6.900,80) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yun Shouping erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Fragrance of a Nation in Clearing Spring im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 59.650.000,00 (€ 6.632.475,41).
