It achieved a price of HKD 259,600.00 (€ 27,794.25), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 73%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yuan Yunfu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Jiangnan Waterscape (Diptych) in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 3,440,000.00 (€ 397,563.16).

Die Arbeit Suzhou Humble Administrator'S Garden (Painted In 1990S) von Yuan Yunfu wurde im April 2021 in der Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 259.600,00 (€ 27.794,25) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 73%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yuan Yunfu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Jiangnan Waterscape (Diptych) im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.440.000,00 (€ 397.563,16).
