Auction result well in line with expectations
In December last year Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online, which included the work Red Lotus by Yuan Yunfu. The price achieved of HKD 44,100.00 (€ 5,284.74) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yuan Yunfu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Jiangnan Waterscape (Diptych) in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 3,440,000.00 (€ 397,563.16).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember letzten Jahres führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Red Lotus von Yuan Yunfu zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 44.100,00 (€ 5.284,74) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yuan Yunfu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Jiangnan Waterscape (Diptych) im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.440.000,00 (€ 397.563,16).
