Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2007 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Chinese Contemporary Art II, which included the work Flying No. 5 by Yuan Xiaofang. The price achieved of HKD 78,000.00 (€ 7,303.22) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 70,000.00 – 90,000.00. Admittedly, works by Yuan Xiaofang have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Blossoming Glass Series No.24 in October 2007 with an auction result of HKD 787,500.00 (€ 70,215.30).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2007 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Chinese Contemporary Art II durch, in der auch die Arbeit Flying No. 5 von Yuan Xiaofang zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 78.000,00 (€ 7.303,22) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 70.000,00 – 90.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yuan Xiaofang auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Blossoming Glass Series No.24 im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 787.500,00 (€ 70.215,30).
