Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2008 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Chinese Art, which included the work Blossoming Glass No.24 by Yuan Xiaofang. The price achieved of HKD 325,000.00 (€ 33,058.67) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 280,000.00 – 350,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yuan Xiaofang - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Blossoming Glass Series No.24, which sold at auction in October 2007 for HKD 787,500.00 (€ 70,215.30).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2008 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Chinese Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Blossoming Glass No.24 von Yuan Xiaofang zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 325.000,00 (€ 33.058,67) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 280.000,00 – 350.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Yuan Xiaofang mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Blossoming Glass Series No.24 beobachtet, die im Oktober 2007 für HKD 787.500,00 (€ 70.215,30) versteigert wurde.
