Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March 2019 China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction Important Collections of Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy from Asia, which included the work Winter Landscape by Yuan Songnian. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 23,600 (€ 2,678), 18% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yuan Songnian achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work in April 2010 with an auction result of HKD 548,000 (€ 53,061).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März 2019 führte China Guardian in Hong Kong die Auktion Important Collections of Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy from Asia durch, in der auch die Arbeit Winter Landscape von Yuan Songnian zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 23.600 (€ 2.678) und damit 18% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yuan Songnian erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit im April 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 548.000 (€ 53.061).
