Upper estimate price exceeded by 51%
The work Landscape And Figures by Yuan Songnian was sold in the Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in May 2017. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 37,760 (€ 4,312), 51% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yuan Songnian achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work in April 2010 with an auction result of HKD 548,000 (€ 53,061).

Die Arbeit Landscape And Figures von Yuan Songnian wurde im Mai 2017 in der Auktion Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 37.760 (€ 4.312) und damit 51% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yuan Songnian erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit im April 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 548.000 (€ 53.061).
