Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Boats by Yuan Songnian was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Christies in New York in March 2017. Here, the upper estimate of USD 4,000 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 4,375 (€ 4,090). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yuan Songnian achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work in April 2010 with an auction result of HKD 548,000 (€ 53,061).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Boats von Yuan Songnian wurde im März 2017 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Christies in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 4.000 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 4.375 (€ 4.090) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yuan Songnian erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit im April 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 548.000 (€ 53.061).
