Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Swallows And Pear Blossoms by Yu Sheng was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in October 2004. The price achieved of HKD 59,750.00 (€ 6,019.06) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yu Sheng achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Birds After Huang Jucai (933-?) in October 2004 with an auction result of HKD 2,751,750.00 (€ 277,204.38).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Swallows And Pear Blossoms von Yu Sheng kam im Oktober 2004 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 59.750,00 (€ 6.019,06) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yu Sheng erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Birds After Huang Jucai (933-?) im Oktober 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.751.750,00 (€ 277.204,38).
