Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Traces De Ballon De Football (Marks Left By A Football) by Yto Barrada was auctioned at Sothebys in London in October 2019. The price achieved of GBP 9,375.00 (€ 10,874.33) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yto Barrada - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work French play (Lyautey Unit Blocks), which sold at auction in November 2017 for USD 43,750.00 (€ 36,770.89).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 9.375,00 (€ 10.874,33) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden.
