Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2020 Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction The value of Art –A contemporary collection H061, which included the work ”Wrapped Bottle” by Yrjö Edelmann. The »bidding war« ended at SEK 3,600.00 (€ 347.11), 20% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yrjö Edelmann achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Packed Night Heaven, 2001 in September 2020 with an auction result of USD 30,075.00 (€ 25,665.64).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2020 führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion The value of Art –A contemporary collection H061 durch, in der auch die Arbeit ”Wrapped Bottle” von Yrjö Edelmann zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von SEK 3.600,00 (€ 347,11) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yrjö Edelmann erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Packed Night Heaven, 2001 im September 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 30.075,00 (€ 25.665,64).
