Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Travelling Thousand Miles A Day by You Jin was sold in the Contemporary Art Day Sale auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2020. The price achieved of HKD 277,200.00 (€ 30,702.16) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 240,000.00 – 360,000.00. Admittedly, works by You Jin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Path - Backyard Garden in September 2017 with an auction result of CNY 1,104,000.00 (€ 140,464.91).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Travelling Thousand Miles A Day von You Jin wurde im Oktober 2020 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Sale bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 277.200,00 (€ 30.702,16) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 240.000,00 – 360.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von You Jin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Path - Backyard Garden im September 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 1.104.000,00 (€ 140.464,91).
