A top price for Yoshimasa Tsuchiya
The work Lion by Yoshimasa Tsuchiya was sold in the Contemporary Curated: Asia | JAY CHOU x SOTHEBY’S | Day Sale auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in June 2021. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 300,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 327,600.00 (€ 35,585.85). With this result, Lion is even the most expensive work of art by Yoshimasa Tsuchiya that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Lion von Yoshimasa Tsuchiya wurde im Juni 2021 in der Auktion Contemporary Curated: Asia | JAY CHOU x SOTHEBY’S | Day Sale bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 300.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 327.600,00 (€ 35.585,85) einen neuen Besitzer. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Lion sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Yoshimasa Tsuchiya, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
