A top price for Yoshimasa Tsuchiya
The work Lion by Yoshimasa Tsuchiya was sold in the Contemporary Curated: Asia | JAY CHOU x SOTHEBY’S | Day Sale auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in June 2021. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 300,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 327,600.00 (€ 35,585.85). With this result, Lion is even the most expensive work of art by Yoshimasa Tsuchiya that we have observed at auctions so far.
