Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2017 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale), which included the work PHOENIX by Yoshimasa Tsuchiya. The price achieved of HKD 237,500.00 (€ 27,119.30) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 180,000.00 – 280,000.00. Other works by Yoshimasa Tsuchiya have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2021 the work Lion was auctioned for HKD 327,600.00 (€ 35,585.85).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2017 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit PHOENIX von Yoshimasa Tsuchiya zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 237.500,00 (€ 27.119,30) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 180.000,00 – 280.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Yoshimasa Tsuchiya konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juni 2021 die Arbeit Lion für HKD 327.600,00 (€ 35.585,85) versteigert.
