Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2013 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Asian Art, which included the work Autumn'S Fragrance by Yoon Byung-Rock. The price achieved of HKD 37,500.00 (€ 3,670.83) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yoon Byung-Rock achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Autumn Fragrance in May 2008 with an auction result of HKD 487,500.00 (€ 40,134.16).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2013 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Autumn'S Fragrance von Yoon Byung-Rock zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 37.500,00 (€ 3.670,83) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yoon Byung-Rock erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Autumn Fragrance im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 487.500,00 (€ 40.134,16).
