Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Yngve Holen was sold in the Contemporary Curated auction at Sothebys in London in November 2021. The price achieved of GBP 3,528.00 (€ 4,142.20) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Admittedly, works by Yngve Holen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work In your case, it's not going to be shaving. It's going to be breaking the bone. and squeezing in December 2020 with an auction result of GBP 17,640.00 (€ 19,705.45).
