This work without title by Yirawala was auctioned at Sothebys in Melbourne in July 2009. It achieved a price of AUD 33,600.00 (€ 19,023.04), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 68%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Yirawala; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Male And Female Kangaroos c.1965 sold at auction in July 2020 with the realized price of AUD 31,720.00 (€ 26,940.72).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Yirawala kam im Juli 2009 bei Sothebys in Melbourne zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von AUD 33.600,00 (€ 19.023,04) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 68%. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Yirawala; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Male And Female Kangaroos c.1965 im Juli 2020 mit dem Hammerpreis von AUD 31.720,00 (€ 26.940,72).
