It achieved a price of AUD 20,740.00 (€ 17,615.08), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 73%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Yirawala; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Male And Female Kangaroos c.1965 sold at auction in July 2020 with the realized price of AUD 31,720.00 (€ 26,940.72).
