Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2014 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Asian Art, which included the work Dog No. 9 by Yin Qi. The price achieved of HKD 75,000.00 (€ 7,721.47) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 60,000.00 – 100,000.00. Admittedly, works by Yin Qi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work China Gallery in April 2008 with an auction result of HKD 667,500.00 (€ 55,010.44).
