Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Denish Dog Head Doberman by Yin Qi was sold in the Chinese Contemporary Art II auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2007. The price achieved of HKD 216,000.00 (€ 20,224.30) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 180,000.00 – 250,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yin Qi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work China Gallery, which sold at auction in April 2008 for HKD 667,500.00 (€ 55,010.44).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Denish Dog Head Doberman von Yin Qi wurde im April 2007 in der Auktion Chinese Contemporary Art II bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 216.000,00 (€ 20.224,30) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 180.000,00 – 250.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Yin Qi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit China Gallery beobachtet, die im April 2008 für HKD 667.500,00 (€ 55.010,44) versteigert wurde.
