Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Dog No. 2 by Yin Qi was sold in the Contemporary Asian Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2015. The price achieved of HKD 60,000.00 (€ 7,009.60) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Admittedly, works by Yin Qi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work China Gallery in April 2008 with an auction result of HKD 667,500.00 (€ 55,010.44).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Dog No. 2 von Yin Qi wurde im Oktober 2015 in der Auktion Contemporary Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 60.000,00 (€ 7.009,60) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yin Qi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit China Gallery im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 667.500,00 (€ 55.010,44).
