Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Yin Kun was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in March 2008. The price achieved of USD 17,500.00 (€ 11,072.45) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Yin Kun have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Hero Series No. 1 in October 2007 with an auction result of HKD 631,500.00 (€ 56,305.99).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Yin Kun kam im März 2008 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 17.500,00 (€ 11.072,45) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yin Kun auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Hero Series No. 1 im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 631.500,00 (€ 56.305,99).
