Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2011 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Asian Art, which included the work Chinese Baby War No. 4 And No. 5 (Set Of 2) by Yin Kun. The price achieved of HKD 118,750.00 (€ 10,319.82) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 95,000.00 – 150,000.00. Admittedly, works by Yin Kun have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Hero Series No. 1 in October 2007 with an auction result of HKD 631,500.00 (€ 56,305.99).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2011 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Chinese Baby War No. 4 And No. 5 (Set Of 2) von Yin Kun zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 118.750,00 (€ 10.319,82) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 95.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yin Kun auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Hero Series No. 1 im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 631.500,00 (€ 56.305,99).
