A top price for Yin Kun
This artwork by Yin Kun achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2007. In the Contemporary Chinese Art (Part II) auction, the work Hero Series No. 1 sold for HKD 631,500.00 (€ 56,305.99) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 300,000.00. This high result makes Hero Series No. 1 the most expensive artwork by Yin Kun that we have observed at auctions so far.
