This artwork by Yin Kun achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2008. In the Contemporary Chinese Art II auction, the work Hero Series No.3 sold for HKD 583,500.00 (€ 48,087.78) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 300,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Yin Kun; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Hero Series No. 1 sold at auction in October 2007 with the realized price of HKD 631,500.00 (€ 56,305.99).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Yin Kun erzielte im April 2008 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Chinese Art II wurde die Arbeit Hero Series No.3 für HKD 583.500,00 (€ 48.087,78) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 300.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Yin Kun; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Hero Series No. 1 im Oktober 2007 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 631.500,00 (€ 56.305,99).
