The work Chinese Baby - 02/05 by Yin Kun was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2008. The auction ended at the price of HKD 150,000.00 (€ 15,257.85), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 120,000.00 – 150,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yin Kun - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Hero Series No. 1, which sold at auction in October 2007 for HKD 631,500.00 (€ 56,305.99).

Die Arbeit Chinese Baby - 02/05 von Yin Kun kam im Oktober 2008 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 150.000,00 (€ 15.257,85) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 120.000,00 – 150.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Yin Kun mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Hero Series No. 1 beobachtet, die im Oktober 2007 für HKD 631.500,00 (€ 56.305,99) versteigert wurde.
