Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphy In Seal Script by Yi Lixun was sold in the Modern Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in March 2019. It changed hands for a price of HKD 17,700.00 (€ 2,008.35) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 10,000.00 – 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Yi Lixun have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Calligraphy in October 2018 with an auction result of HKD 118,000.00 (€ 13,286.97).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy In Seal Script von Yi Lixun wurde im März 2019 in der Auktion Modern Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 17.700,00 (€ 2.008,35) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 10.000,00 – 20.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yi Lixun auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Calligraphy im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 118.000,00 (€ 13.286,97).
