The work Calligraphic Couplet in Seal Script by Yi Lixun was sold in the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2018. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 37,500.00 (€ 4,097.04), 25% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yi Lixun - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Calligraphy, which sold at auction in October 2018 for HKD 118,000.00 (€ 13,286.97).

Die Arbeit Calligraphic Couplet in Seal Script von Yi Lixun wurde im Mai 2018 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 37.500,00 (€ 4.097,04) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Yi Lixun mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Calligraphy beobachtet, die im Oktober 2018 für HKD 118.000,00 (€ 13.286,97) versteigert wurde.
