Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Yi Lixun achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in October 2021. In the Takahashi Kouhou Collection auction, the work Eight-Character Couplet In Seal Script,Eight-Character Couplet In Clerical Script sold for HKD 45,600.00 (€ 5,072.37) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yi Lixun - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Calligraphy, which sold at auction in October 2018 for HKD 118,000.00 (€ 13,286.97).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Yi Lixun erzielte im Oktober 2021 bei China Guardian einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Takahashi Kouhou Collection wurde die Arbeit Eight-Character Couplet In Seal Script,Eight-Character Couplet In Clerical Script für HKD 45.600,00 (€ 5.072,37) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 20.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Yi Lixun mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Calligraphy beobachtet, die im Oktober 2018 für HKD 118.000,00 (€ 13.286,97) versteigert wurde.
