Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March 2021 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art | London, which included the work Untitled (Smile) by Yelena Popova. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 900.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,008.00 (€ 1,184.14). Admittedly, works by Yelena Popova have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in March 2019 with an auction result of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,803.35).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März 2021 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Art | London durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (Smile) von Yelena Popova zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 900,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.008,00 (€ 1.184,14) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yelena Popova auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im März 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 5.803,35).
