Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Bats) by Yelena Popova was auctioned at Christies in London in March 2021. The price achieved of GBP 1,375.00 (€ 1,615.27) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 2,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yelena Popova - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in March 2019 for GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,803.35).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Bats) von Yelena Popova kam im März 2021 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.375,00 (€ 1.615,27) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Yelena Popova mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im März 2019 für GBP 5.000,00 (€ 5.803,35) versteigert wurde.
